It depends who it is with but I doubt you can. Can't you just never use it and forget about it?

As CheekyChops says, most email providers don't allow you to actually delete an account. You just cease using it.

If you're using Outlook Express and you want to remove an account (so that your PC no longer downloads mail from it), go to Tools > Accounts and click on the Mail tab. Click on the account you no longer require, to highlight it. Click Remove > Yes > Close.
