Effect of ISPs on Outlook Express email boxes?
I currently have a dial-up internet connection with one ISP. I wish to sign up to a different ISP for broadband but retain the existing dial-up for a while. What would happen to my existing OE email boxes and contents (at my two existing dial-up email addresses) when I start using different addresses on broadband?

Outlook express will allow you to set up multiple e-mail accounts.
However, most ISPs will not allow you to send e-mails via their servers unless you are attached to their networks, so you would need to either dial a connection to your old ISP in order to send using that account, or configure OE so that it always used the new new broadband account for sending.

or put the SMTP login information in for both outgoing servers then you may be able to use either server no matter what connection you are on.
This doesn't work for all ISP's though some just don't support SMTP authenication and some (such as AOL) route all SMTP traffic to their servers no matter which one you try to use
