unwanted search engines

Having just installed an all singing all dancing new computer to replace what has been a very reliable but very slow Dell system I now find that i am inundated with unwanted tool bars is there any wal to get rid of these please?

Go to the menu bar > view > toolbars & unccheck the ones you don't want
