When signing in and choosing to show my status as 'appear offline', will I show to my contacts as truly 'offline' (in the 'not online' contacts section) or will I appear as 'offline' in the 'online' contacts section (as I do when setting my status to 'away' or 'busy' or 'be right back')?

Hope that makes sense!

It will just look like youre not on line.
So you wont appear in the online bit at all.

Yes you will apear in the offline section my daughter uses msn all the time !!
