signing in

hi, for some reason my yahoo, ebay accounts etc are asking me to sign in every time i go on them and they ve always remembered me before, have ticked the box for remember me after signing in but still no joy. cant think why this is happening after all this time of never being a problem previously ?

This information is held in cookies (small files created by web sites).

Normally your cookies are saved each time you log off your computer. Thats how the web sites "remember" your logon details.

If you seem to be losing them it may be because you have changed one of your computer settings. There are options, for example, to delete cookies every time you exit from your browser.

Maybe you have set that on ?

There are also options in your browser to "Delete browsing history". Could it be you have started running this ?

Have you changed any settings like this recently ?

did do something in cookies as was advised to but as a newby not sure what it was so sounds like that, what do i need to alter it back ?

Untick 'clear my private data every time I close Firefox'
