Unwanted first page when I open IE - help please.
I have Spybot on my PC, and last time I installed I chose to have the option to monitor and allow or deny changes. I thought it would be a good thing, but I have had my doubts at times since doing that, and I wish I could get rid.
Anyway, the thing with that is that you sometimes don't know whether to allow or deny, so you click the one you think is best, and then find out it wasn't.
Earlier tonight I guess I must have clicked the wrong one, and ever since then when I open IE, my home page (which is still the default home page according to settings) is not the first page to appear. Instead it is a microsoft page, and I have to select my homepage from the toolbar/
My system recovery is kaput anyway (I think something turned it off ages ago and I never noticed at the time) and my spybot recovery doesn't seem to work either,
Anyone any ideas how I can get rid of this first page, and instead go straight to my home page as I used to?
