How juvenille is that? I've been having arguments with Mr R for nearly 38 years, some serious but, apart from a bit of sulking on my part (and sometimes his) we usually sort it quite quickly.

I once worked with a woman who let the sun set on an argument she had with her husband, with the intention of sorting it in the morning. But he died in his sleep....

This may ruin the thread, and your night, but it's certainly advice I took on board.

no im joking, if i had a fall out with my partner then theres no point listening to him if hes peed off etc and i not in the right state to take it in. so i turn fone off... and just chill out over night then turn phone bk on :) and listen to vm he would have left and also read texts too :)
