not displying photo

can anyone advise,i went on a dog re-homeing site,on the page opened ,it detailed the dogs for re-homeing ,,the breed of dog and rellevent picture, my problem i got no photos of the dogs ,i just got a red square instead of photos.i contacted the site,they said there was no problems on the site all photos are on there screen, i also got a friend to browse the site ,they had no problems all photos were showing,am i short of downloading something to bring these photos in ,please help if you can. peggy..

Do you have Flash Player installed? Here is the link if you don't. (Take the tick out of the box for downloading Google toolbar)

i tried to download flash player ,halfway thro i got
i/e has blocked this site from using active x in a unsafe manner as a result page may not display correctly,didnt understand it didnt download.

there are no pictures at all ,as i say just red blocks,but on two other same type sites the pictures show. and other freinds get the pictures on the site i cant.
