Hello!!
I requested 2 friends on Facebook about 4 months ago. When I look, the message comes up as "Friend Requested" but they have not accepted my friendship. I know there is good chance they are ignoring me but I requested them on the same day one after the other and if they refused my friendship the status goes from "Friend Requested" to "Request as friend" again. It just seems weird. Any ideas anyone?
Like I said, maybe they are just ignoring me, I can deal with that but I think an error took place when requesting their friendship as they have changed thier profile pictures since and lets be honest if we get a request from someone we do not want we hit the "Ignore" button and not just leave the request open to ignore.
Any ideas??

Why do you assume everyone clicks ignores request,

I currently have 5 friend requests that I haven't accepted and 400 other requests.

It's possible to send a message along with the friend request, slid, - why not try again + include a few words? x

and lets be honest if we get a request from someone we do not want we hit the "Ignore" button and not just leave the request open to ignore.

You may do that, not everyone does though, I don't and I know a lot of my friends don't. So you shouldn't automatically assume that everyone would click on ignore, a lot of people will just leave the request open.

All I want ot know is, could there have been a glitch on the day I requested them.
Of course they could be ignoring me, I have already said that but has anyone else had problems like this?

Can't you just send another friend request?

No. It says "Friend requested" so there is no option to request again, unless there is another way?
