I have a new (2 months old) Dell laptop which I have been connecting to BT Home hub with no problem. I gave it to my daughter to use at her flat and she cannot get it to connect to her BT Home hub. Does anything need to be changed on the computer or should it pick up a connection anyhow?

It's probably her security settings on her hub that is blocking it.

Does she get a message asking for the code or passkey?

Not sure, I am going to speak to her tonight about it. How do you change the security settings if we need to?
Thanks for your help.
Dave.
This is an excellent guide - especially 'configuring the hub'
