can anyone shed any light on this? I have been a buyer and seller on ebay for about 3 yrs and have never had any trouble login on before but now i just can't login i'm using the right user name and password but it says that one of them is wrong so i've clicked on send me a reminder and i get no reminder.. i've not changed my e mail address or anything else.. i cannot even get in contact with the customer support because you have to log in.. its sending me nuts can anyone help?

Are there any listings under your username that you haven't listed?

My account has done exactly the same thing.
Thanks Ethel, i shall contact ebay, though i checked my account and nothing had been listed and as far as i can see, ive not been hijacked. Ive also changed my password on paypal

eBay are very good at suspending accounts without notice if they suspect you are breaching the rules- listing something you shouldn't be, for example (often eBay have got it wrong - the act first and think later).

Could this the case?

I would not send ebay a message via their email system. They take ages to answer, then don't answer the question you asked.

If I have a problem I go straight to ebay's live help where they usually sort it out straight away:

ebay are very good at responding to emails when the problem is a suspected hijacked account.

To use livehelp you will have to register another eBay id as you can't log in.

You don't need to log in to use live chat.

Ethel, your link does not work (no S after the HTTP), at least I can't get it to work. But my one does work, at least for me. And I'm not logged into ebay at the moment.
