Spam from my own email address

My wife is getting spam from her own email address. I don't understand how someone else could be doing this. She has changed her password but I would be really grateful if someone could suggest a possible solution. Thanks in advance.

This happens all the time. The spammers just clone the "from" email address - it's easy to send out an email using any "from" address you want.

The solution is to just delete them.

Not unusual at all.

The "apparent" email address that a mail is sent from can be set by the sender and spammers often set it to the same a the recipients address.

Nothing to be worried about and it doesn't mean your account has been compromised at all.

Hi I was getting about 50 per day! Ichanged my webmail address by inserting a couple of numerals in it. So far so good
