router speedtouch problems wlan connection

hi, have a thomson speedtouch router and all of a sudden its stopped working. it was fine one day then next the wlan light has gone red. computer says it detects wireless signal and even the wireless adaptor says its connected to router but i cannot use internet if i try explorer it just says no network available aol ran me through some checks and told me my ip address had changed but i have doubled checked this in the wireless ip is still the same as before but noticed the erthenet connection ip is different anyone with any ideas how i sort it let me know many thanks as cant get on internet wired or wireless
