Lycos/Strato domain names
Anybody else having trouble with the change from Lycos to Strato?
As Lycos are not webhosting anymore they are suggesting, well, in fact, forcing people to change to Strato.
I don't want to go to Strato, but Lycos won't allow me to go elsewhere by saying my domain name should be registered with them for 60 days before I can change.
As my renewal with them was in Dec they say we haven't reached the required 60 day period and so can't move, only to Strato.
Of course neither Lycos nor Strato are taking calls on this, nor are they answering e-mails, other than an acknowledgement that "your e-mail will be answered shortly"
I think this is a case of "got you by the short and curlies"
Any suggestions as to how I can move my domain names will be gratefully received.
