internet speed puzzle

hi all,
hope you can slove this one for me
sometimes when i log on to the net my speed is so slow it takes about 2 mins to even open my home page
i do a disk clean up and hey presto back to normal
any ideas??????

instead of just cleaning up

JUST FREE UP SOME SERIOUS SPACE
that should do it

you need 20% ... so you need to aim at 30-50%
burn some CD/DVDs ... get a usb disk ... just get the cr@p out of your machine

delete the temp fiels, cookies and history from the internet explorer from the path

tools menu <options<genearl tab and click on delete the optionsas above.

delete the temp and prefetch files from the windows also.

thanks guys but already tried that and have always kept my pc as claen as possible plus this is a fairly new pc so not much on it
