Are WMG and UMG totally justified in removing and muting videos citing copyright infringement as the reason, or are they just being small minded and petty.

I personally enjoy seeing videos of songs I like and find You Tube a great way to access them, although this is becoming increasingly difficult after the recent ruling ordered of You Tube.
