I was wondering if there was anyway you could find the IP address of an images original uploader?

For you and me, the answer is 'No'.

The only place that a record of the uploader's IP address might be held is in the log files of the site hosting the picture. Such files aren't publicly available. If the picture included child porn, or was linked to terrorist activity, the police (in the country where the website was based) could obtain a court order to get the information but otherwise there's no access to it.

The reason I am asking all comes down to fake people again.
I have been chatting to some guy and he just seems to good to be true, and is oddly suspicious. So I wanted to search where the picture was first uploaded to give me piece of mind.

If it seems too good to be true, it probably is. So be careful.

no, you can not download the ip address of the image downlaoder. it is secure and hidden so one can not see the ip address.
