Our house is cabled up for Virgin Media but I'm confused by their website.
Can you take their broadband on a stand alone basis without any other Virgin services?
Thanks

Yes you can.

I have broadband and tv - I don't have a telephone line at all.

i agree it`s very confusing, I ve just searched and can`t find a broadband only offer, although I do know they do one.
The thing is though, I know my daughter pays a few pounds a month more for broadband, than I pay for broadband + phone line and free weekend calls.
She does this because her daughter would run up large phone bills, so although it`s more expensive, she saves money in the long run.
I would give them a ring to find out the options, then if possible order on line as this usually saves money.
Yes, that`s the one Ethel, I think that`s what my daughter pays, 20 per month.
I've been with Virgin (nee NTL) for years and have phone, tv and broadband. A few months ago I phoned them up and said I was thinking of leaving (wasn't really but just wanted a better deal). I was offered a better deal straight away and saved a lot of money. Definitley worth haggling with these utility types!
