Embedded pictures in emails received

Is there any way of removing an embedded image on receipt of emails from a regular correspondednt that I need to remain in contact with but who attaches an horrendous image with each email sent that I would rather not see. As it is linked to a company image etc. I am not at liberty to tell sender to remove it before sending.

If you're using Outlook Express, Tools/Options/Read tab, select the "Read all messages in plain text" check box.

If it is necesarry to view mail in html due to formatting etc.; Tools/Options/Security and tick the "Block images and other external content in html e-mail."

Is this a situation where you may be the victim from unwanted abuse? If so, don't put up with this for too long. Perhaps talk to someone higher up who has decent moral values.
