sending photos via the internet

Good morning, I would like to email photos to friends. I have been told email is the slowest way and should upload these on various sites. As this is new to me: 1) Can anyone suggest what site I should use 2) Is it easy 3) As the photos will be on the internet will the world and it's wife be able to see the photos. 4) Any other words of wisdom Many thanks Bee

Google photos+Picasa is free. There are others which are better but they cost.

2) yes, just uplaod and email your friends the links to the pictures.
3) No, you can mark any pictures as either private or public
4) Have fun! Don't upload anything rude.

http://www.webshots.com you can upload photos in albums here and make them private, then you can invite your friends to view. No-one else can see them.
