Hi. At the weekend I upgraded to IE8 and since then, evertime I use it I get an error and it closes down. Is there any way to revert back to IE7?

Sure, just uninstall it from add/remove programs and it will put IE7 back on for you.
The Web Standards Project have a page called Acid3 that checks how well a web browser follows certain web standards, especially relating to the Document Object Model and JavaScript.

IE8 only got a score of 20/100. It is a disgrace that Microsoft should release a product that independent tests prove does not work.

Change to a more compliant browser that actually works.

No sorry, I still can't find it. Am I looking in the right place?
Control Panel - Programs and Features
Your using Vista, I think?
Go to
Control panel - Programs and Features
on the left hand panel under 'Tasks' click on 'Installed Updates'
Look down the list until you find IE8 and uninstall from there.
can't you just do a restore point to get rid of it that way? I tried IE8 and hated it.
