I used to be able to clear the list of topics I had googled by clicking on the 'Clear History' button. That seems to have disappeared. Please can anyone suggest how I can get it back?

Is there a spanner symbol on the google toolbar? Select it then untick the 'store history on my computer' option. Worked for me.

are you going to tools, delete browsing history?
Question Author
There was originally a 'delete history' on the drop-down panel in Google itself. I've just tried the Tools option following your advice, and although I've clicked on 'delete history' the list is still there.
here is another suggestion. Go to Tools, internet options, general, history. Clear history button.

It still doesn't work. But thanks for your suggestions.
