Is Windows 7 better than Vista?

When I bought my new PC about 5 months ago it came with Vista which I don't really like and seems slow and complicated.
I had Windows XP with my last one and was quite happy with it, so is Windows 7 better than Vista and how much would it cost ? Thanks.

personally i think win7 is better than vista, its faster and has better features. but everyone will have a different oppinion.

I still use XP, but have used Vista and 7. 7 is much much better than Vista.

in my opinion anything is better than vista but that's my opinion do not know how many people disagree but after reading about many people changing to xp after having vista that's scary

Agree with Cherrychapstick - Vista is a huge heap of warthog's doos.

Windows 7 is better than vista but I have heard of people having problems when upgrading from vista. Pre installed versions work great but there was similar problems when upgrading from xp to vista

Windows 7 is superb. There are no problems upgrading from Vista because the driver model is the same. I really would not recommend upgrading from XP.

Love windows 7 personally. My pc still has xp on it. never used vista myself but my mothers laptop has vista and when ever i've had to sort stuff ror her on it i didnt like vista.

so i'd say 'Yes' windows 7 is better than vista.

Vista is more trouble than it's worth. Keep XP until you need a new machine. Then get one with Windows 7 on it...although most should have 7 already loaded.
