Wii connection settings

Hi, yesterday in installed a new router on our home network, the router seemed fine until i just tried to get the wii connected to it. the router settings are on WPA2-PSK and when I search for an access point it shows as a yellow locked padlock. but when i enter the 8 digit security pin off the bottom of the router it just wont connect. what could i be doing wrong?

Have u definately got the correct security pin??
