Deleted things from systems config utility that were unnecessary,but it now uses selective startup only....is this OK? John

Yes that fine, you will get a warning on restart that you are using selective start up, just put a tick in the "do not show this again" at the bottom of the warning window and click ok.

VHG Sorry,never looked at old question and thought it might be too far down the page to be noticed...Thanks CF....Computer seems to be running a bit quicker so I'll leave well alone for a bit...Thanks again John
