Hi, I was wondering if I could record some Netflix movies so I can watch them on my dvd player. I used to watch them on my desktop but it's a small one and I was thinking if anyone uses already an Netflix Video Downloader and which is that.
Thanks

You know, your question about how to capture Netflix live video streaming is a pretty good one, I think it would be actually very interesting to see if this is indeed possible.
I think one other thing that would also be interesting is to find out if by any chance Download Helper, you know that Firefox add-on, works also as a Netflix Video Downloader and it's able to record Netflix movies as well. They do work for quite a large number of websites.
Netflix Video Downloader? I never hear of such thing, I for one am pretty sure it cannot be possible to record Netflix movies, as far as I know Netflix video streams have some sort of protection on them that would probably prevent one from recording them.
Ok, just wanted to let you know that I checked that firefox add on I said it would be interesting to see if it can record Netflix movies, unfortunately it cannot be used as a Netflix Video Downloader. They do seem to have a lot of websites on their list but as far as I could tell it only records flash videos from streaming websites, and Netflix is no such thing.
From what I can tell Netflix live video streams must have some sort of encryption so any ordinary app would definitely not work.
Oh well, it seems that it's back to googling for me. If anyone does find a way to record Netflix movies, I'd love to hear about it.
Well, if you want to capture Netflix live video streaming, you should use a screen recorder, because Netflix files are encrypted and cannot be downloadable, you need to search for a screencapturing software which capture streaming Netflix.
It won't work with that Firefox add-ons because add-ons record just flash videos and not encrypted, so do not bother trying add-ons or YouTube Downloaders or even don't think that your files can be found in your temporary files.
You should start searching for a Netflix Video Stream Recorder which captures Netflix streams.
Thanks for the tip Cester, I'll also google for a Netflix Video Stream Recorder, maybe I'll have more luck with this search.
What I found out until now is that it's not an easy job to find a working and reliable app that can actually capture Netflix live video streaming, they all say their apps can do this job but when I get to trying a particular app it doesn't work to record Netflix movies.
Oh yeah, also wanted to tell you that I tried some replay media catcher app but it seems that this one does not work either to record Netflix movies, at least it did not work for me.
If you do happen by any chance to come across a Netflix Video Downloader I'd love to give it a try too.
Cheers!
I also found some time ago a method to capture Netflix live video streaming on some forum. Of course the thread is kinda old so this method to record Netflix movies might not work at all.To be honest I haven't even tried it because it seems to difficult to me and I did not exactly understand too much of what that guy was explaining there. But hey, if you are desperate to find a way to capture Netflix live video streams, you can give it a try. Here's the link to that method to record Netflix movies :http://forum.rorta.net/showthread.php?t=1134
No, that thread is too big for me, I'm sure that there are many other easy ways to capture Netflix live video streaming. I found a very helpful tutorial about how to capture Netflix streams with Tunebite, didn't try that app, because I don't need to record Netflix movies for the moment, but you should take a look at this one. If it works, please let me know, because it seems very interesting with its functions:

I say definitely try Tunebite, why should you even bother with such complicated ways to capture and save Netflix live video streams as the ones mentioned on that thread from that rorta forum when you can just get a Netflix Video Downloader?
Tunebite Netflix Video Downloader can save Netflix live video streams easily with no problems whatsoever, thanks to its screenrecorder function. The Netflix Video Downloader is also able to convert Netflix movies to avi, mp4, 3gp and other file formats you might need for your devices.
Of course, besides capturing Netflix live video streams, you can also use Tunebite to record and save video streams from a lot of other streaming video portals like Hulu, YouTube, Facebook, Megavideo and many others.
Actually, to be honest Tunebite can pretty much capture everything you see and hear on the web. It's a complex app with a lot of very useful features and I am sure it's just the Netflix Video Downloader you were looking for.
Question Author
Hello,
Thank you guys for helping me out on how to capture Netflix live video streaming.
Indeed, a Netflix Video Downloader would be much efficient than getting other apps to record Netflix movies and then to convert it or that forum rorta, it could be a thing but it's a very large thread where I didn't understand many...
I will try Tunebite Netflix Video Downloader and if it works I'll use it a lot to download Netflix live video streaming. I took a look at that link, very useful indeed and also its many features could be the only way to have tons of movies and music. Tunebite YouTube Downloader can be very useful since it gives me many video clips and also converts them to whatever format I want.
Thanks again...
