Does anyone know about this program? I thought it was just a good way to clean up my computer, clear search history, clear cookies, temporary files etc. But I've just been hit by 312 viruses that seem to reside in it. Any thoughts?

Searching for 'evidence eliminator review', 'evidence eliminator virus', etc doesn't bring up any sites casting doubts about the authenticity of the program. All that show up are recommendations from reputable sites, such as PC Advisor magazine.

Either you've downloaded a malicious program which is masquerading as the genuine Evidence Eliminator or, more likely, your anti-virus software is reporting 'false positives'. If in doubt, use this instead:

I doubt they are viruses. Some security software lists cookies as "security risks" so maybe the program is listing them as "problems" but not actually viruses.
