Firefox gone off

I have to click on it about 6 times before it catches.....any idea wots wrong.

Hi Tambo

One of the great things about Firefox is that it's usually easy to fix any problems that occur. You simply need to reinstall the program. (You don't need to uninstall it first and you won't lose any bookmarks or personal settings).

if you mean when you first switch on the comp firefox does take a while to load but after that it should be as quick as any other page,bbc etc

when I open Ffox I get numerous homepages open simultaneously.

any ideas as to how to rectify it ? tia

Have you actually tried my suggestion of simply reinstalling Firefox? It usually solves most problems.

Reloaded Ffox - seems I've lost the Ethernet controller; how do I reinstall ? This lappy is wifi.

your getting lots of pages opening because i suspect your continuously clicking on the firefox tab to open NOT giving it time to load up in the first place if you click it 6 times you will get eventually six home pages opening ,be patient with it give it around 15 secs the first time you click on it
