I always wondered how so many episodes of so many tv series could be freely available.

Now it's been taken off the air by US Customs (couldn't be bothered to read the rest of their title), so that's the answer.

Can I expect a SWAT team to crash through my front door at any moment because I dared to visit the site?

Stockholm based bootleg peddlars TV Shack continue their pirating activities elsewhere on t'internet - it is only their US domain names which have been seized.
