google chrome query

hi folx, ie is my default browser,not thru choice but cos i am fearful of interfearing too mmuch with what i am familiar with....until now.....
i installed google chrome and like it, but can someone please tell me how to send, ie....a link or a page as it appears on the screen by email??....its just that ie has a file tab and in there is the option 'send'....i cant find an equivalent on google chrome...many thanks all.

if i make google my default browser, how will it affect the way my laptop functions?.....is it a wise move?...and one more question please....my laptop is freezing on startup, sometimes it doesnt even get as far as installing desktop icons....how can i diagnose the problem?...any thoughts would be great....thanks for your time.
