Don't know if this has been mentioned before so here goes.
Is it possible to get the "uk only" button back on the google search page? I know it appears at the side after I press search but I'm not keen on this new way!
Also, what is all this fade in business about?
Backward step I think, or is that just me?

Agree - step backwards

At the top right there is there is a "search settings" menu. You can customize your search bar, but even here - no option to bring up UK pages

Yes, if google wasn't the best search engine (in my opinion) I'd be off somewhere else.
yes i too find this annoying
After you have typed what you are searching for, type + uk after it; this should limit the searches to the UK.
