Trouble with AVG ??

Hi All
Apart from my problems with Outlook, I now have a problem with accessing the Internet. I use Firefox on my PC with XP, SP3 but since yesterday cannot get on to the Internet, whether it be Firefox or IE. I can get on using my Samsung netbook which is on my home network, so I am assuming that my router and NAS device (Buffalo link Station) are working ok - I'm using the netbook to post this query. I have been told that there have been problems with AVG Free and the Internet - can anybody advise if they have heard of this.

Yes AVG Free is unsupported on certain systems from Dec 2010. I now use Avast and have no problems.

Thanks for the suggestion Zeb - only just seen it on my lappy. Unfortunately, can't download anything until I get Internet Access back !
