Is there anyway of making the sending and receiving text section, larger at the bottom box?

Never used it, but can't you 'drag' the divider between the boxes, to make it bigger?

Yes, you can. You can drag the outer edges of the skype window itself to make it any size you wish, and also drag the dividing box edge up to enlarge it.

Thanks Naz and HC, I should have made my Q a bit clearer. I know how to make the box bigger, Its the text I wanted to make larger.

I believe you can under options. I'll check the path for you, on mo.

tools > options > IM & SMS > IM appearance > Change Font > [select size, font, style etc]

Click OK

Click Save

Done.
