I presume that due to the fact that they are still making a daily appearance in my Inbox, there must be some souls who still fall for these lame 'you have won/inherited a fortune but I was unable to pay for the transit of funds' letters.
Have any of you ever been tempted to follow up in cognito?
I'll be in a position that I'll have plenty of time on my hands soon, so gonna have some fun with those wierdos.
Speaking for myself, you presume wrong; any incoming mail I receive that is unsolicited automatically goes into my 'junk' folder. I take a quick look at the rubbish each day then bin it without further thought.
Just totted up, over the last month I have received at least 10 emails, saying that I have been selected to benefit from various schemes, a total of over 150 million US dollars. As VHG says, if you are not aware of these scams, you could be in big trouble. My advice to anyone is, if you have won something that you have not entered for IT IS A SCAM, so delete it without opening the link. The same applies to those emails saying your bank account has been suspended.
