printer sharing

i want to share a printer over a wireless home network.  printer is attached to xppro machine and want access through an xphome laptop.

can anyone help?

You need to set up a workgroup on the two pc's then set the printer as a shared printer, which will allow the other machine to use it

Start,control panel and run the network setup wizard, on both PCs, accept the defaults.

Install the printer on one PC, once installed, right click on printer and select sharing, share the printer.

go to other PC, add a new network printer and browse for printer on other PC and install the drivers.

Agree with mattie except that if both PCs are running XP, you will not need to install drivers on the client.
