Is it possible to get a copy or read my work emails on my laptop before I goto work?
Ie: can I download a copy
If I can what are the settings

it will depend on your works policy. in y work you can't have access to the network at home, unless you have a mobile device like a blackberry. You'll have to ask your work

There is no way to answer your question with the information you've given as you've given no details at all about the type of email system your company uses.

But as accessing your work emails may be against your companies AUP for IT usage then I'd suggest you start by asking your IT department rather than risk getting yourself fired by trying to do it without their consent.
