I've got a tiny neodymium magnet and a few AAAs knocking about - now off to find some copper wire (will report back) !

best get a rechargeable battery or that toy could cost lots of cash.
Wonder if it really needs a Neodymium magnet. Don't think I have one.
Tried it, it worked. I used two small neodymium magnets. The tricky bit is bending the wire to the right shape - very fiddly.
That is so cool! :)
