Changing Document Format

I have a document that is on my pc as an adobe pdf and I would like to get it into jpeg (or similar) format (so that I can upload it as an avatar)- could someone tell me how to do this? Operating system is Windows XP and have Adobe Reader 9 installed. many thanks in advance

Easiest way would be to do a print screen of it.

Hi Chuck - gone on to gravatar and changed the image but it hasn't appeared on here as yet - is that normal or should it have happened straight away?

It takes a few minutes to update.

I think you have to wait about 15 minutes.

Though you are now showing a different avatar than you were this morning, seems to be a woman in a black top now.

Yes - same woman - different era!!! Circa 1989 in our early thirties
