can anybody get W98 file associations to change? i have followed microsoft instructions tot he letter but it just doesnt work- my g/f has W98 and hers doesnt work either

Which file associations are you trying to change? Select a file which you wish to change in Explorer. Press the SHIFT key en right-click your mouse button. Now check the box "always open, etc.". Cheers, PD
