Facebook pending friend request-confusion!

Hello,
I recently added a friend to facebook and have not had any notification that they have accepted, they are not on my friends list and when I go to their profile it says request still pending so I assume it has still not been accepted. However, I keep getting things coming up in my news feed about them e.g. they have made friends with someone else or xx friend has now changed their profile picture? I don't understand why this is coming up if we haven't 'become friends' - could they have accepted and something has got stuck in the system?

Why don't you email facebook admin and ask them?

If it is still pending you will see their feeds, but are not friends, so you cannot write on their wall etc

Rach this happened to me, the person you requested has not accepted you yet but some of their updates will still show on your page until they choose whether to add you or not. However if they have added other people and you have seen this on a update I would retract the request, sod them ;)
