How can I put my Virgin Inbox Emails in date order.

It's not clear to me whether you're accessing your mail via the web, or by using a proper email application (such Outlook, Outlook Express, Thunderbird, Windows Mail, etc). With all dedicated email clients, simply clicking on the 'Date' header puts the mail into date order (either most recent first or oldest first - clicking again reverses the order). All of the web-based sites I've ever seen work the same way but I can't actually guarantee that the Virgin Media site does so.
