chuck....because the base unit is in a cr@p position and the mouse, attached to a USB point is dangling infront of me and annoying sqad.....so I have bought a cordless mouse. Now sqad is happy.
Either this is Mrs Sqad... or Sqad has started to talk about him self in the third person!
Anyhow, regardless, answer still stands, if your mouse goes into standby don't bother turning it off, if it doesn't go into standby (like crafts) turning it off will save batteries.
