If I've read your question correctly (which I'm not 100% sure of!) you're seeking to turn off System Restore temporarily while running Malwarebyte's Anti-Malware.
The following is for XP, but it should be fairly similar in other versions of Windows:
Go to Start > Programs > Accessories > System Tools > System Restore.
Click on 'System Restore Settings'
Click alongside 'Turn off System Restore'.
Click 'Apply' and 'OK'.
Then run Malawarebyte's Anti-Malware. (Go through the procedure above afterwards, to remove the tick alongside 'Turn off System Restore').
chris,i was told to do this cuz i´m having problems composing at the moment, since my files were erased due to a persistent virus having to be removed, i take ages composing, because the words go everywhere now, but every time i take it back to the shop, the problem disappears!!!
Having feel problems understanding what the problems are, but if it is to do with files you need having been deleted, it sounds to me as if you need to reinstall whatever is affected. Either the applications, or even possibly Windows.
i have lost the installation discs. possibly got mislaid when i moved from northern spain back to madrid.
i suppose i´ve got to go back to the shop and ask them to do it with new discs
