Is there any way to block a 'Word' document which people have to pay for on my website from being printed out once they access it?

Anything that can be viewed on the internet can be printed.
If you save the Word document as a .pdf file, there are DRM programs which should do what you want. Have a look at one of them

Even with all the security, if it's viewed onscreen, there are snipping programs which take printable screenshots...
Sorry - "rather than" putting them on a website.
Snagit will copy anything.
If you can see or hear it .. it can be copied or reproduced (and therefore printed too)
Password protect it. State on the page where the link is to email you for the password. It won't stop people who know each from sharing but it's better than nothing.

The only thing that is possible is making it a little trickier to print something, as has been said up there ↑↑ if you can see it on your screen you can copy it and therefore print it.
