Camcorder tape - PC
3 Answers
I am having problems with the transference of one to another as I haven`t tried it before. I have a Canon MV 830 camcorder, and what I want to know is - what is an `interface cable?` Is it the cable that has a 4pin plug on one end and a USB on t`other? I have installed a Solutions disc, and been informed that I already have it installed, so what do I do now? Any help will be appreciated by this unfortunate person.

To transfer from the tape you need a firewire (ieee 1394) interface card in your computer.
You don't actually need any of the stuff on the solutions disk.
Here's a picture of a firewire cable: http://pcexpertos.com...10/02/firewire4-6.jpg
