problem with burning disc from itunes ? advice please someone ;-)

hi,
i used to be able to pop in a blank disc and there was an option on itunes to burn song onto disc, now i dont have that option , also what are the best type of discs to burn tunes onto to listen on my car cd player ?

im using the old version of itunes, and it asks me do i want to update to the new version, i would like to try to see what the new version is like but im afraid it will wipe some of my music/tunes off....ive been a bit of a bad boy and downloaded from limewire in the past tisk tisk lol......

any advice for me please. ty
