Google now my default browser, Why??

My default browser has suddenly switched to google chrome. I haven't downloaded anything or upgraded so how and why does this happen?? Also how can I return to my original browser as default please.

A lot of programs give you an option to install chrome when you install the other program, you should start looking for the optional extras when installing things and learn to untick the option.

you've not said what your original browser was, but how to change it back to default is here..

You can then uninstall chrome.

Thing is Chuck I didn't download or install anything. I was looking on AB then clicked a question link and it opened up in chrome and thats where it stayed

my browser is orange and on the top right of the screen is orange search and if I click on that I get a choice of browsers including orange. Dont know if this will work for you

I know this is probably a personal thing but what is the best browser? I use I.E. and on twitter its so, so slow. I'm not a computer man so any suggestions would be helpful.
