email filtering on a blackberry...how?

ive a curve 8900...and i am trying to filter my messages to that they dont fill my phone up...

i only want to let certain message through to my handset and i have tried to fill in the msg filter section...but its still letting the ones i thought i'd stopped through...

in the filter sender section, i have put the address of the company i dont want them from, then my address, and set it to do not forward...what else do i need to put in?
