I have only 3.79 GB free of 67.4 GB, can it be i am storing too much music and pix. i wonder? any suggestions much apreciated . . . . .

You are certainly storing something. Is your computer a laptop or desktop PC?
Search ... Files&Folders ... Criteria size.
Scan for and sort by size. You'll soon see where the big stuff is.
You should get yourself an external hard drive and transfer the stored data to it and then delete the data on your computer to free up space on your computers hard drive . You only have a 80 GB hard drive and the OS needs space to operate .You could consider a larger hard drive for your computer
XP Pro and loads of programs .. and MS Office ... 11 Gigs ish.
Years of stored docs, ghost image, and software .. 30 gigs
My DVD storage drive with 42 DVD's on it ... 120 gigs.

All depends on what you need to keep!
80 Gb is plenty for many people. Keep 30% free if poss.

First off, thanks so much to all for the helpfull answers everyone ! I usualy get an email telling me there are answers to read but this has failed to happen on this occasion ! (maybe another question there- ?) I have a laptop b.t.w. I will start with Albags idea first but certainly bear the others in mind- Thanks again everyone - LongLiveAnswerbank......... :-)
