if it's a well known personality they will have a PA who deals with all incoming emails - they hold the reins as to whether or not your enquiry gets through to the 'great one'

Regarding the facebook one, I have a friend who has a friend who is listed as having a well known celeb as a friend. The guy is famous for gardening but more well known for a chat show host now.

Any, depending on the security settings of some of HIS friends (and some very big names were there) it was actually possible to message them, which surprised me.

Of course you need a celeb to start with, otherwise it would be labourious searching

I think I have asked this question before, and was told just to ask the person in question. If you do not see them often then just ring them up, and ask them. It is not such a strange question.

You're not wrong evil__sheep. They only had to offer me some sort of half-ar$ed apology or even admit that at least one of the points I raised needed attention and I would have given up. Apparently the general manager is 'flabbergasted' by my comments and feels I have treated them unfairly! Idiot.

I once complained that the Little Chef loos somewhere near Stanstead AP. smelt to high heaven and where they going to make a pubic wig out of all the ruddy hair in there. They just laughed.
I found an exec's email and sent it off. Got a reply in the end.

Thanks wolf - I have been in email contact with the staff at Wookey Hole and I am now escalating my complaint. So far tonight I have contacted ASA (about the mis-leading website), Somerset tourism (to alert them to the fact that the establishment is so unprofessional and bad ambassadors for their area) and I have posted a less than flattering review on trip advisor.

You are correct Wolf - I complain where I see fit (I also send nice emails when things are above expectations). I would have let it drop but the general manager sent me a really snotty email, all that was need was a pretend apology and some pretense at acknowledging (sp?) that at least one of the points I raised was valid. I am sick of being ripped off and expected to just take it.
